Section 18A Tax Deductions
The Full Stack Youth Development Agency holds (or is in the process of obtaining) Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) status with SARS. Donations, including student debt relief pledges, are tax-deductible under Section 18A of the Income Tax Act.
This means your contributions to graduate employment are not just good for South Africa: they reduce your tax liability. The maximum deduction is 10% of taxable income.
Student Debt Relief Models
Choose the debt relief model that best fits your organisation. All models qualify for SED points and Section 18A deductions.
Direct Payment
Pay the graduate's debt directly to the institution or NSFAS upon hiring. Simple, immediate, and fully traceable for compliance purposes.
Sign-on Benefit
Tie debt repayment to an employment contract period (e.g., 24 months). If the graduate stays for the full term, the debt is cleared in full.
Pooled Fund
Contribute to a shared fund that multiple companies feed into. Graduates can apply for relief from the pool, regardless of which company they join.
Hire-to-Clear
